The Teddy Bella playbook
Everything you need to track Teddy Bella's potty habits and catch health changes early. No tech skills needed.
Day 1 · one time
Set it up on your phone
Do this once. After that, Teddy Bella lives on your home screen like a normal app.
- 1Open the app link in Chrome on your Android phone.
- 2Scroll to Use on your phone and tap Install app. Now open it from the new icon.
- 3Tap Turn on next to Phone alerts, then tap Allow. Your phone will buzz for health warnings.
- 4In Sound notifications, keep Sounds on and tap Test chime to check the volume.
- 5Pick a Litter check reminder. We suggest 8h (about twice a day).
Every day
The daily routine
The app is only as good as what you log. Log right away, while you remember.
- 1When you scoop the litter box, log each clump separately. One pee clump = one Pee tap. Each poo = one Poo tap.
- 2Choose the area. Use Litter box for normal visits, or the room where you found an accident.
- 3Choose the condition. Be honest: Soft, Diarrhea, Hard or Blood seen are what power the health warnings.
- 4Add a short note when something is different, e.g. "strained a lot", "new food", "vomited".
- 5When the reminder banner shows up and nothing needs logging, tap Checked to reset the timer.
Made a mistake? Scroll to Recent activity and tap the trash icon on that entry, then log it again.
Understand the screen
Reading your dashboard
Each card answers one simple question.
- Today
- How many times did Teddy Bella pee and poo today?
- Last pee / Last poo
- How long since the last visit? Useful for spotting a missed day.
- Last 7 days
- Is this week normal? Look for a day that is much higher or lower than the rest.
- Where it happens
- Which rooms get accidents? Hotspots tell you where to clean or add a box.
- Recent activity
- The full history, newest first, with conditions and notes.
A typical healthy adult cat
Pees about 2–4 times a day and poos about 1–2 times a day. Every cat is different, so learn Teddy Bella's own normal from the 7-day average.
When the alarm sounds
What each alert means
Alerts appear in Health watch, play a sound, and buzz your phone.
Urgent — call your vet today
- No pee in over 24 hours (possible blockage — an emergency, especially in male cats).
- Blood seen in pee.
Warning — watch closely
- Frequent peeing: 6 or more in 24 hours.
- No poo in over 48 hours.
- Diarrhea or hard / dry poo.
- 2 or more accidents outside the litter box in a day.
Info — just a heads-up
- A single accident outside the box. Check the box is clean and easy to reach.
Once a week · 2 minutes
The weekly check-in
Pick a fixed day, like Sunday evening.
- 1Look at Last 7 days. Is the daily average similar to last week?
- 2Look at Where it happens. Any new accident room? Clean it with an enzyme cleaner so the smell doesn't invite repeats.
- 3Scan Recent activity for repeated Soft, Diarrhea or Hard entries.
- 4Take a screenshot of the dashboard. It becomes your weekly record.
At the clinic
Using it with your vet
Vets love real numbers. Your log turns 'she seems off' into facts.
- Show the 7-day chart and the average per day.
- Show when the change started using Recent activity.
- Mention any notes you added (food changes, straining, vomiting).
- Bring your weekly screenshots to compare with past weeks.

Tips & limits
A few things that keep your data safe and alerts reliable.
- Use one phone. Data is saved on this device only, so everyone in the house should log on the same phone.
- Don't clear Chrome data for this site, or your history will be erased.
- Reminders need the app open (or recently open). Open it each time you scoop and it will stay on schedule.
- Works offline. No internet? You can still log.
- Not a vet. Teddy Bella helps you notice changes. If something feels wrong, trust your gut and call your vet.
